The African National Congress’ top six leaders are discussing high-level appointments before the party’s National Executive Committee meeting on Wednesday.
They will be charting the way forward for the country’s next government. ANC leader Jacob Zuma is expected to announce his cabinet next weekend.
His spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said Zuma’s diary is full this week.
“He’s preparing to go to other public engagements such as Workers Day in East London in the Eastern Cape on Sunday,” Kodwa explained.
