Seven suspected gang members from Hanover Park are set to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on Friday after a police raid in the area.

Police officers raided two homes on Wednesday and seized guns, ammunition and drugs.

At least three of the suspects were linked to the Americans gang.

Police Inspector, Keith Chandler told Eyewitness News they were investigating whether the suspects could be linked to other crimes in the area.

“Detectives are working around the clock, trying to connect various cases. So they are questioning and taking various statements from other sources," says Chandler.
