At least 11 people were arrested on drugs-related charges in various anti-crime operations across Cape Town at the weekend.

Various crime fighting initiatives are being rolled out across the Peninsula ahead of the festive season.

Operation Razor was launched in crime-ridden Atlantis where officials raided 15 suspected drug dens.

Officials were not taking chances as they conducted the raids fully armed.

Other initiatives have seen dozens of traffic fines being issued.
