Afrikaans musician Jurie Els on Thursday opened a case of crimen injuria against singer and actor Robbie Klay.

It came just two weeks after Els was acquitted on charges of molesting his former protégée, as a child.

Els said he hates child molesters and they must be put behind bars but false accusers should also be locked up.

The North Gauteng High Court found that the state could not prove beyond reasonable doubt that Els sexually abused Klay as a child.

He said the last 22 months were the most difficult in his life, and he seems determined to fight for his dignity.
