The ANC said on Monday its main policy priority for this year was to ensure all government programmes had measurable outcomes.
The party spent the weekend with government ministers and directors-general discussing its plan for 2010.
ANC officials said they spent the weekend discussing policy and not the alliance but despite their two days of talks officials were not able to give any examples of what government’s priorities would be for the year.
When asked directly about this ANC policy chief Jeff Radebe could speak only about measuring outcomes.
Based on their statements it does not seem like any big changes to health, education or crime policies are in the offing.
