Police are investigating the cause of another bus accident on the Moloto road, north of Pretoria.

It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle and it veered off the road. More than 80 passengers were injured. Six of the passengers were seriously injured.

The accident could have been worse if the driver was speeding.

Tshwane Emergency Service’s Johan Pieterse explains: “It seems that the bus was not travelling at a high speed, which is why the injury count isn’t so [serious].”
