FIFA said on Saturday it is satisfied with the progress of the World Cup and now has its focus on organising the final.
The World Cup knock out stages begin on Saturday and the governing body said it is happy that the group stages have been concluded without any major glitches.
FIFA Secretary-General Jerome Valcke said the organisers will make transport a priority for the finial on July 11.
Valcke said he was happy with the ticket sales and that South Africa has officially surpassed the 2006 World Cup average attendance.
FIFA has promised to declare this World Cup as “perfect” if the organisation continues to be as smooth until the final day.
Valcke said the world football governing body is pleased with the tournament’s infrastructure.
