The South African Rugby Union’s General Council has not discussed Springbok coach Peter de Villiers’ upcoming misconduct hearing.
SANZAR confirmed it may charge de Villiers for comments he made on the recent Tri-Nations away leg.
But the Bok coach denies he hinted that officials are favouring the All Blacks because New Zealand are hosting the World Cup next year.
After SARU’s meeting on Friday afternoon, President Oregan Hoskins refused to be drawn into commenting on the matter, only saying it was not discussed.
He also could not say when the hearing would take place.
Meanwhile, two changes within SARU leadership have been confirmed.
Stellenbosch Univeristy’s Jurie Roux has been appointed as the new CEO and Francois Davids has resigned from the Executive Council, preferring to continue as President of Boland Rugby.
The SARU constitution does not allow Presidents seats on the council.
